Grapes
Grapes are planted as vineyard rows and use narrow specialist equipment for maintenance and harvest.
Establish vineyard rows
Place grape vines in build mode and leave enough operating space for narrow tractors and vineyard tools.
Maintain between rows
Cultivate/subsoil and mulch between vine rows as required, then fertilise the vineyard.
Harvest
Use the grape harvester along the rows and unload into a suitable trailer.
Procedure
- Place vineyard rows with enough turning room for narrow machinery.
- Mulch/cultivate the strips between rows and fertilise the vines with compatible narrow equipment.
- When ripe, run the grape harvester along each row and transfer fruit to a compatible trailer.
- Deliver grapes for sale or processing; maintain row spacing and vegetation before the next season.
